TLC at Pugsley French House

We realised we would not get to see Pugz's brother, Martyn, who was staying in France, if we didn't get a move on. So we had to agree to get the train to La Souterraine, stay with Pugz's family for a few days and then return to where we left off. This is so we can still cycle the whole way to Istanbul, no train rides allowed.

We were so glad to come to Crepiat. We ate, slept 10 to 12 hours and got our sore bits to heal up. This was assisted by lots of cheese, wine and friendly conversation. It even rained heavily whilst we were there! It is a great place to rest after our first 700km.

On Tuesday 11th August we will get the train to Orleans and restart the journey eastbound, not south. so we are hoping the wind will not be a headwind.

From Orleans, we will ride along the Loire towards Lyon and the Alps. We are not sure where we will find an internet cafe to update you. but untill then, keep safe.
